Flexihire
Rebranding and website design.
Flexihire lends out tools of all sizes for jobs of all scales for people of all walks. They desired a re-brand to bring the business forward to share their services, their team’s expertise, and to fortify trust in their name. Thus, warmth and strength became the two key tenets of this identity rebrand and website design.
Inspired by the warm and bold simplicity of Bauhaus and Scandinavian design; of bright touches next to sturdy coffee-coloured wooden toys and carpentry, the goal was to present cleanly and confidently, cutting the chaff, remembering the human, reducing cognitive load and elevating the important details.
Bringing him forward
Since the brand’s inception in 1978, a ‘mascot’ of a tiger has been part of the identity and logo, and as part of the transformation we desired to honour this lineage. We chose to bring the tiger forward in the new logo, distilled purely to an iconic and recognisable form - as a badge; a stamp, a summary. A simple, confident statement of warmth, and strength.
