HSBC

Strategic brand and marketing collateral

TDA (thedylanagency) is the primary comms agency for HSBC in Australia.
In collaboration with TDA I designed, retouched, edited, animated, and executed campaigns, social media content, video, and more.

Here are some highlights.

Barangaroo Lion Campaign

To promote the launch of a new branch in Barangaroo, TDA commissioned a living art installation, a 4-metre high Lion from over 5,600 individual plants.

I worked on social, outdoor media, and videography to promote the installation and highlight its relationship to HSBC’s sustainability values, including a sponsorship with The Royal Botanic Gardens.

The campaign saw 100% positive sentiment, with 4.8 million impressions via social media, exceeding the set target of 2.7 million by an additional 78%.

Instructional Videos

I designed, edited, and animated a series of instructional walkthrough videos as part of a project to onboard customers to HSBC’s online investing platform.

Starting with an instructional onboarding video for the registration process, in response to positive feedback and increased engagement, the feature onboarding videos became a series.

Informational Videos

One of the key informational videos I edited and post-produced was for HSBC’s ‘Future of Work’ program, with key stakeholders promoting the ongoing implementation of forward-thinking, collaborative ways of working at HSBC’s Australian headquarters.

Further digital & social selects

I worked across a variety of public and internal-facing campaigns ranging from cards, accounts, and services to events like Lunar New Year and collaborations with Opera Australia, GOMA, and World Rugby.

All of this while applying HSBC’s brand guidelines and helping inform their development and evolution over time.
